Hostal Valencia’s location made exploring Madrid easy, right by Callao metro station. Unfortunately, the noise from Gran Via disrupted my sleep.

The location puts you right on the busy Gran Via, ideal for exploring. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and essential toiletries provided.

Expect a small elevator that services the fifth floor but not the additional two floors, which can be inconvenient, especially with luggage. The thin walls lead to significant noise from street traffic, making it hard to get restorative sleep. The bathrooms are cramped, with sliding doors that leave little to the imagination in terms of privacy.

Our stay was highlighted by the enjoyable rooftop bar with stunning views and the lovely reception staff, who assisted us with local attractions and dining recommendations.

This place perfectly suited my quick stay in Madrid with great value for money. The spacious bathroom was a refreshing surprise compared to typically cramped hotel facilities. Make sure to enjoy the free internet during your stay.
